Join us for the ride!

About the Role

We’re seeking a seasoned full stack engineering lead to help architect and serve as a technical lead for a next-generation security initiative. You’ll be part of a small, highly technical team working on novel approaches to secure systems — with an emphasis on cryptography, automation, and AI-powered analysis.

As team lead, you’ll operate as a player-coach: guiding a cross-functional engineering team while also contributing hands-on to the codebase.

This role involves architectural leadership, technical mentorship, and deep cross functional collaboration. The technical domains are broad, but our core focus is on building systems that make people more secure in the modern computing landscape.

Day to Day
  • Own end-to-end execution of the team’s technical roadmap—from design and development to integration and delivery
  • Write and review production code across multiple layers of the stack (e.g., data pipeline, APIs, front-end)
  • Collaborate with AI and cryptography specialists to integrate intelligent automation and secure primitives into the platform
  • Work closely with the product manager and designer to scope features and ensure user experience aligns with system design
  • Shape engineering workflows and team culture (e.g., sprint cadence, CI/CD practices, peer review norms)
  • Support early customer onboarding, feedback loops, and iteration
What You Bring to the Table
  • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including at least 2 years leading small teams or projects
  • Full-stack proficiency, ideally including:
  • Cloud-native deployment (e.g., Docker, k8s, Terraform, AWS or GCP)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—you can context-switch between code and leadership mode with ease
  • A pragmatic approach to architecture and product delivery in fast-moving environments
  • Ability to mentor engineers across disciplines and promote technical excellence
  • Experience with applied cryptography, especially key management, TLS, or post-quantum algorithms (e.g., Kyber, Dilithium)
  • Familiarity with agent-based architectures or systems that scan and orchestrate actions across distributed environments
  • Knowledge of AI/ML systems, particularly LLM integration or agent-style reasoning patterns
  • Exposure to security tools, vulnerability detection platforms, or compliance automation
  • Prior experience working on developer-facing or infrastructure-heavy products
