Job summary

VDart Inc. is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer for an onsite Minneapolis role. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications with Java/Kotlin, Spring, Angular, and AWS.

You will build RESTful backends, craft responsive front-ends in Angular/TypeScript, and integrate services with databases via JPA. Expect collaboration in design reviews, sprint planning, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong coding practices, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java/Kotlin experience.
• Experience with Spring, JPA, AWS, Angular, TypeScript, Docker, Groovy/Spock, and GitLab CI.
• Proficient in designing and building full-stack applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and database usage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable full-stack applications.
• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java/Kotlin and Spring.
• Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with relational databases using JPA and related technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code following software development best practices.
• Participate in peer code reviews, sprint planning, technical design discussions, and stakeholder and cross-team meetings.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across both front-end and back-end components.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using GitLab CI and Docker.
