Job summary

HelloJoy in Chicago seeks a Lead Software Engineer to help define and ship core platform features. You will lead technical analysis and design, collaborate across design, product, and engineering, and contribute across Swift, React, NodeJS, Python on AWS to deliver impactful patient care improvements.

You’ll own both high-level architecture and hands-on coding, helping shape the company’s technical direction and product decisions from day one.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience shipping software as part of a product development team.
Lead role in technical analysis & design, evaluating tradeoffs and establishing best practices.
Love for solving hard problems with data-driven, iterative software development.
Experience across multiple languages/frameworks; Swift, React, NodeJS and Python; AWS.
Collaborate with designers, product and engineers to solve end-user problems.
Able to balance 30,000-foot view with hands-on coding when needed.

Responsibilities
