Job summary

Doxel is hiring a Lead Software Engineer in San Francisco to shape the next generation of its project management and field-enablement tools. You will design full-stack applications handling massive field data, including videos, images, forms, and IoT outputs, crafting reliable, fast experiences for both office and field teams.

You will collaborate with product, design, backend, CV/ML, and platform teams to translate AI and data systems into intuitive user experiences, while mentoring engineers

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-stack web/mobile development experience.
• Expert in modern full-stack frameworks (Nuxt.js/Next.js).
• Strong backend with Typescript, Python, or Java and API development.
• Experience handling large multimodal datasets (3D, video, image) and IoT data inputs.
• UX for field-facing or operational workflows.
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerized infra.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of full-stack applications powering project management, commissioning workflows, and field data capture.
• Build web and mobile tools for field teams to upload videos, images, forms, IoT readings, and issue docs.
• Develop high-performance UIs for complex data streams and large datasets.
• Architect backend services and APIs to support rapid ingestion, processing, and review at scale.
