About the Role

People10 is looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of hands-on development experience in ReactJS, Node.js, and database technologies. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering depth with solution-architecture judgment — someone comfortable owning technical design decisions, cloud and security posture, and system-level API integrations, not just writing code.

The candidate must have previously played a technical leadership or team lead role , with the ability to guide developers, drive technical decisions, ensure code quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will have opportunities to grow into roles such as Principal Engineer, Solution Architect, Engineering Manager, or broader techno-functional leadership streams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.

Solution Architecture: Own application architecture and technical design decisions — scalability, security, integration patterns, and long-term maintainability.

Full Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using ReactJS, Node.js, and modern development frameworks.

Backend Development: Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and business logic using Node.js and suitable frameworks such as Express.js.

API Integration: Design and oversee integration with external/third-party REST APIs, ensuring reliable, secure, and well-governed data exchange.

Database Management: Design, develop, and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models using SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Cloud & Infrastructure: Guide cloud architecture and deployment decisions, balancing scalability, cost, and operational simplicity.

Security: Embed authentication, authorization, and data-protection practices into the architecture from the outset, not as an afterthought.

Code Quality: Ensure clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code through code reviews, automated testing, and established coding standards.

Project Delivery: Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defects.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.

Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and Node.js .

Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs , including with external/third-party systems.

Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

Experience in database design, query optimization, and data modeling.

Demonstrated experience in solution architecture — making and owning system-level design decisions.

Working knowledge of cloud platforms and application security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection).

Prior experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or equivalent leadership role , with demonstrated ownership of technical deliverables.

Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to work independently while guiding and collaborating with a development team.

Good to Have

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar), including using them to accelerate delivery across a team, is a strong advantage.

Experience with Azure cloud services is preferred; familiarity with AWS is a plus.

Experience with TypeScript and modern React development practices.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment automation.

Understanding of microservices architecture.

Experience integrating with Transportation Management System (TMS) APIs or similar logistics/supply-chain platforms is a plus.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint planning.

Exposure to monitoring, logging, and production support practices.

Demonstrate hands-on technical expertise while leading development activities.

Break down requirements into technical tasks and guide the team through implementation.

Take ownership of technical decisions, architecture, delivery timelines, and code quality.
