Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a senior systems analyst who can instruct, direct, and review the work of a project team. You will define the most complex system scope for assigned initiatives, devise procedures to address capacity and performance constraints, and prepare detailed specifications for development.

You will oversee program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation with full technical knowledge of application systems analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide the most complex architecture and technical designs including data mapping and process modeling to understand capability gaps or new requirements, especially when onboarding new clients.
• Coordinate with user groups to identify solutions that improve business processes and implement the most complex changes.
• Conduct complex analysis and provide estimates based on technical component changes; plan installations and ensure project schedule adherence.
• Scan and debug complex technology to maintain optimum system performance.
• Provide guidance and education to lower level employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
