Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a Lead Developer – Front-End Web Development to build and support large-scale enterprise applications that integrate with back-end systems via RESTful services and JavaScript APIs. You will apply expertise in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to deliver robust UI components.

You will lead design and architecture, mentor developers, and ensure code quality through tests and CI pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of advanced JavaScript and functional programming experience.
• 3+ years of advanced CSS experience.
• 2+ years of HTML5 techniques.
• Experience with modern JS frameworks (React, Redux, ExtJS).
• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js (npm).
• Experience with iterative/test-driven development, CI.
• Experience with client-side testing tools such as React Testing Library or Jest.
• Strong cross-browser optimization and debugging skills.
• Passionate about learning and adapting in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of enterprise web applications.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of new components.
• Manage builds and deployments independently.
• Create and maintain software tests for quality.
• Develop design docs for new software and versions.
