Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Software/Integration Engineer to drive front-end modernization and software integration at Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, FL. The role requires technical leadership across software and infrastructure teams and onsite work.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in React/Angular/Vue, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development, with a focus on secure, scalable mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering with 9+ years of related experience; graduate degree with 7+ years; or 13+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end modernization and integration across software and infrastructure teams.
• Build modern, responsive front-end solutions using current web frameworks.
• Deploy and maintain applications in AWS with scalable, secure, resilient design.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Engage with customers daily to refine requirements and improve functionality.
• Produce and maintain technical designs, roadmaps, and deployment procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation for system design and deployment processes.
