Job summary

Skill is seeking a Lead Fraud Analytics Implementation Manager for a ~12-month contract with hybrid on-site requirements (3 days/week). This role spans evaluation, optimization, and deployment of fraud detection models within enterprise fraud platforms across multiple U.S.

locations including New Castle, DE. You will bridge advanced data science with business execution, evaluating several ML models, navigating MRM governance, and leading technical deployment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on understanding of machine learning algorithms and model performance metrics (ROC-AUC, Precision/Recall, population stability index).
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical deployments and model integration lifecycles.
• Direct experience navigating Model Risk Management (MRM) compliance, governance, validation, and approvals in financial services.
• Ability to analyze large transaction and risk datasets to drive operational decisions.
• Domain knowledge in fraud analytics, fraud rule development, or card issuer risk management.
• Experience working with fraud analytics ecosystems and enterprise fraud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Benchmark, evaluate, and test existing and proposed fraud models; assess performance, business impact, and ROI for prioritization.
• Lead end-to-end model deployment into the fraud ecosystem and coordinate with MRM for validation, documentation, and approvals.
• Direct cross-functional roadmaps combining data science, infrastructure, and rules engine updates for seamless integration.
• Collaborate with fraud operations to integrate model scores into active fraud rules and payment execution pathways.
• Serve as the primary liaison between data science teams, external technology partners (e.g., Mastercard), MRM, and business risk executives.
