Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. in Milwaukee seeks a Foreman to lead framing crews on active job sites. You will oversee onsite labor, read blueprints, lay out walls, and ensure work meets project specs, schedule, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors, inspecting framing quality, documenting changes for billing, and maintaining tools and site efficiency while upholding OSHA guidelines. Strong leadership and prior foreman experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of proven steel stud framing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Strong attention to detail and math skills.
• Experience as a foreman or crew leader preferred.
• Aerial lift/scissor lift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand the full scope of framing work for each project.
• Read and interpret project blueprints and structural shop drawings.
• Lay out walls and other information needed to erect walls and soffits.
• Document plan changes that affect materials and labor for billing.
• Notify field supervisor or project manager of discrepancies or changes.
• Follow safety protocol, site safety requirements, and OSHA standards.
• Direct onsite labor to meet schedule deadlines.
• Review materials and framing quality before, during, and after completion.
• Operate tools used in framing and carpentry.
• Maintain site materials, tools, and communicate needs to field supervisor.
