Job summary

CareerArc is seeking a forklift operator for a cold storage facility in California. The role involves directing and training operators, coordinating with supervisors, and moving products using powered industrial equipment in a 35-degree environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory control, and ensuring safety and accuracy of shipments while maintaining equipment and adhering to OSHA standards. This is a second-shift position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Rail-specific forklift experience required.
• Must pass post-hire assessments.
• Must obtain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA).
• Must wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train forklift operators within the area of responsibility.
• Plan and direct work with supervisors and management.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered equipment.
• Inspect equipment daily and follow OSHA standards.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and safe.
