Description

The Lead Forklift Operator will be responsible for overseeing daily operations related to forklift activities.

Pay

$24.50 Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Function as the team lead in the absence of a supervisor by answering employee questions, troubleshooting problems, and promoting efficient operations.
  2. Transport products to and from designated areas within the facility.
  3. Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
  4. Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
  5. Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
  6. Check loads to ensure they are secure.
  7. Stack empty pallets.
  8. Perform daily equipment checks, including recharging truck batteries and lubricating equipment.
  9. Remove machine attachments and waste materials from machines.
  10. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  11. Dump materials into machine hoppers.
Qualifications
  • Ability to represent Dart professionally and positively.
  • Understanding of basic operations and ability to explain them to employees.
  • Ability to mentor and coach employees.
  • Ability to foster a team-oriented, respectful, and productive work environment.
  • Good attendance and reliability are required.
