Job summary

Great Falls Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Speech and Debate Coach for Great Falls High School to lead students, manage travel, and oversee the team’s season. The role involves coordinating a coaching staff of four assistants, organizing fundraising activities, and ensuring smooth logistics for competitions.

You will travel to 6-8 overnight meets around the state and host or co-host one meet annually. Teaching endorsements are preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Manage a travel budget of $13,800.00;


• Manage a coaching staff of four assistants;


• Handle paperwork collection and filing;


• Organize and manage yearly fundraisers;


• Order annual supplies for team;


• Travel to 6-8 overnight meets around the state;


• Host or Cohost one speech and debate meet per year;


• Coach students in speech and/or debate event category for a total of not less than 8 hours each week;


• Manage the affairs of the GFHS speech and debate team.

PREFERRED

• High School Teaching Endorsement(s) preferred.
