EFI Global in the Minneapolis area seeks a seasoned Structural Engineer to join our forensic engineering team. You will apply expert analysis to determine causes of failures across commercial, residential and industrial buildings.

A PE license is required, you should have eight years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead investigations, prepare reports, and testify as an expert witness.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; PE license required in resident state.
• Eight (8) years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Mansioni

• Assign engineers to client losses in the assigned area and manage quality control.
• Survey losses and loss scenes at residential and commercial buildings.
• Conduct investigations to determine and document the scope of damage.
• Provide guidance and leadership on complex losses.
• Implement engineering strategies within the assigned team.
• Collaborate with investigators to produce reports outlining cause/origin of losses.
• Serve as an expert witness in court/depositions.
• Document and maintain billable hours for failure analysis and forensic projects.
• Collaborate with EFI's national team of forensic experts.
