Job summary

Burford’s Construction is seeking a working Foreman with proven leadership for electrical line clearance projects. The role emphasizes safety, crew scheduling, and coordination with customers and management in a demanding field environment.

The Foreman will supervise pruning operations, ensure adherence to Line Clearance Contract terms, and oversee training and performance of climbers and bucket operators. Strong English communication and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership to supervise crews on utility line clearance projects.
• Demonstrates safe work practices following company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication with crew, customers, and management.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and follow directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe working practices following company policies and procedures.
• Schedule crews and assign work efficiently.
• Maintain records (written and computer).
• Lead, train, and coach team members on pruning techniques and line clearance operations.
• Communicate project issues and techniques to customers and property owners.
• Coordinate and inspect crew work to ensure compliance with the contract and safety rules.
