Job summary

Trueline is seeking an experienced Foreman Pipefitter to lead field crews on commercial, mechanical, and process piping projects in southern MA. You will read drawings and P&IDs, plan work, fabricate and install piping systems, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires Massachusetts Journeyman Pipefitter certification, proven leadership, and the ability to coordinate with managers and customers. Expect overtime, a strong ESOP culture, and ongoing career growth.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Journeyman Pipefitter license.
• Experience leading pipefitting crews on commercial, mechanical, or process projects.
• Proficiency with grooved, threaded, soldered, brazed, and welded pipe connections.
• Working knowledge of codes and standards for mechanical, process, and petroleum piping.
• Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screening.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead pipefitting crews on commercial, mechanical, process, and petroleum piping projects.
• Read and interpret work scopes, drawings, and P&IDs to plan work procedures and build methods.
• Plan and sequence daily work, manpower, materials, and tools to keep projects on schedule.
• Fabricate and install piping systems per drawings and P&IDs.
• Set the tone for jobsite safety and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and customers to keep work moving.
• Train and mentor journeymen and apprentices on technique, safety, and quality.
