Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Foreman to supervise concrete/civil carpenters and laborers on site, ensuring safety, quality and production align with plans and specifications. The Foreman will work under guidance from the Superintendent or General Foreman to prioritize tasks and uphold a professional on-site presence for the company and owner.

Requirements include typically 3+ years of hands-on construction leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction leadership and hands-on trade experience.
• Ability to supervise multiple trades on a busy site.
• Strong communication with Superintendent and field crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete/civil crews to produce safe, high-quality work per plans.
• Enforce safety on site; lead daily JHAs/PODs.
• Plan daily activities; assign tasks and start crews on time.
• Monitor quality, progress and productivity; minimize rework and support punch lists.
• Track crew manpower, equipment, and materials with cost awareness.
• Communicate progress and needs to the Superintendent and assist planning.
• Train and mentor developing crew members and emerging leaders.
