Overview of the Role
Salesforce is seeking a multi-skilled engineer to build and test our best-of-class integration platform with a focus on QA automation and strategy. These solutions are critical to the success of the Public Sector Line of Business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium and Salesforce-on-Salesforce technologies, including but not limited to
force.com, APEX / Javascript / SOQL, Data Cloud, Government Cloud, MuleSoft, SFDX, Tableau, and Slack.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective collaboration are essential. You should contribute ideas and feedback to improve our solutions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in discovery and design sessions.
- Document and present test strategies and implementation designs to peers, stakeholders, and review boards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for environment setup and launch dependencies.
- Implement approved designs to meet integration requirements.
- Write, execute, and maintain automated unit tests.
- Support investigations on new and existing integrations.
- Provide timely status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Adhere to Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with BT Business & Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, QA, and other teams to execute integrations and automations.
- Keep up with security, technical, and business training.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience with force.com configurations, APEX / Javascript / SOQL, and testing.
- 6+ years of QA automation or development on Salesforce technologies like MuleSoft, Data Cloud, Government Cloud, Tableau, or Slack.
- 3+ years with XSL/T, XPath, JUnit, Selenium, Postman, Cucumber.
- Strong QA automation strategy, design, and execution skills.
- Experience testing application integration, data synchronization, data quality, and security via API or UI automation.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design, JSON, XML, Salesforce API, and REST Web Services.
- Experience with open/private APIs such as Google, Salesforce, Snowflake, Slack.
- Troubleshooting experience with MuleSoft ESB tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus.
- Background in agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Experience in diverse implementation sizes and distributed teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant technical degree required.
Required Certifications
- Salesforce Basic and Advanced Administrator Certifications.
- MuleSoft Developer Certification (a plus).
This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to meet government screening standards, including a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan. Citizenship will be verified through documents such as U.S. Passport, Driver’s License, Global Entry, or U.S. Government CAC/PIV.
