Job summary

Maverik in Colorado is seeking a Lead Food Service Team Member to lead by example, support your crew, and help deliver fresh food and great customer service in a fast-paced store. You will manage food preparation and displays, train team members, and uphold safety standards.

A flexible schedule is required for our 24/7 stores, including nights, weekends, and holidays; ServeSafe certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a food-service team in a retail or restaurant setting.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• ServeSafe certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
