HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital is seeking a Lead Food Services Assistant to support dietitians, screen admissions, and help with patient meal services. You will manage patient menus, maintain computer records, and communicate with patients, families, and the dietary team to ensure timely service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, is on-site, and has no travel. No prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduation or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dietitians in screening new admissions and obtaining food preferences.
• Maintain computer systems accurately.
• Process, modify, collects and checks patient menus.
• Participate in meal services and/or other production related duties as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and families about food item availability.
• Maintain proactive communication with the dietary team.
