HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital is seeking a Lead Food Services Assistant to support dietitians, screen admissions, and help with patient meal services. You will manage patient menus, maintain computer records, and communicate with patients, families, and the dietary team to ensure timely service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, is on-site, and has no travel. No prior experience is required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will assistDietitians in screening of all new admissions and obtaining food preferences.
• You will maintain computer systems accurately.
• You will process, modify, collects and checks patient menus.
• You will participate in meal services and/or other production related duties as needed.
• You will maintain effective communication with patient and families to ensure they stay informed of additional food item availability.
• Maintains proactive and effective communication with dietary team.
