Job summary

University of Washington Dining, part of Housing & Food Services (HFS), is seeking a Food Service Worker 2 to join a fast-paced, high-volume operation. You will lead student workers, assist in menu item production, and provide excellent guest service in a 100% onsite role across UW Dining venues.

Responsibilities include food preparation, beverage service, cashiering, station setup, and maintaining sanitation.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience preparing and serving food and beverage.
• Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with a team of staff and student workers.
• Perform basic food prep, beverage production, serving and cashiering tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper food handling practices across the station.
