Job summary

Aramark is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead our Food Services Team. You will work with a manager to coordinate daily operations, oversee staff, and ensure menu standards and safety policies are followed.

The role involves scheduling, training, inventory, and occasional night or weekend catering events. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are essential to help deliver high-quality service to our customers.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities and oversee staff.
• Maintain food safety and quality per policies and department requirements.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules and menu adherence.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health/safety codes.
• Keep weekly inventory records and assist with orders.
• Supervise, counsel, and mentor staff; promote teamwork.
• Ensure a safe working environment and address equipment needs.
• Train/mentor other food service workers and fill in for absences.
• Maintain knowledge of catering events and ensure timely delivery.
• Occasionally work night/weekend catering events and attend meetings.
• Communicate with staff via email/phone and support office functions.
• Possibly perform cashier duties when needed and promote good public relations.
