Job summary

Trinity Services Group, a TKC Holdings Company, seeks a Food Service Supervisor to manage kitchen duties and supervise inmate labor in preparing and serving meals at a correctional facility.

You will follow standardized recipes and production standards, oversee sanitation, and ensure safety protocols are applied during high-volume meal production. This role requires reliability and physical stamina, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old.
• 1 year or more experience in a food service role.
• Institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepares, assists, or instructs inmate labor in the preparation of a variety of food items.
• Handle production and sanitation paperwork.
• Ensure cleaning and maintenance of all food service equipment and work areas; follow safety and sanitation practices.
• Follow institution requirements in preparation, oversight, and serving of meals.
• Follow housekeeping and safety practices as instructed.
• Store food and supplies per instructions.
• Prepare food for large groups in high volume facilities.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

About This Position

The Food Service Supervisor performs a variety of kitchen duties as assigned and/or instructs inmate labor in preparation and serving of correctional facility meals in accordance with departmental work production standards, standardized recipes, and work instructions.

Available Schedule

Must have open availability to Weekdays and Weekends

12 PM - 8PM

Please note: Supervisory duties are in relation to supervising inmate labor.

Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities

• Independently prepares, assists, or instructs inmate labor/team members in the preparation of a variety of food items in accordance with departmental work production standards, standardized recipes, and Institution work instructions.
• Will be required to handle production paperwork and/or sanitation paperwork essential to be in compliance with facility procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring the cleaning and maintenance of all food service equipment and work areas is completed; confirm proper safety and sanitation practices are being followed.
• Follows prescribed institution requirements in all preparation, oversight, and serving of correctional facility meals
• Follows assigned institution housekeeping and safety practices as instructed.
• Stores food and supplies in accordance with instructions.
• Performs in high volume food production facilities preparing food for large groups.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year or more of experience working in a food service role.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
