Job description

Northwest Center is hiring a Lead Floorcare Custodian in Seattle!

We are Integrated Facilities Services (IFS), a part of Northwest Center, a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for people with disabilities and promoting equal opportunities in education and employment.

The role involves working as a custodian, providing leadership to the team, and performing floor maintenance at multiple sites in Seattle.

Location:

Seattle, WA

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday – Friday, 2 PM – 10:30 PM

Wage:

Starting at $21.76 per hour, with a full range up to $23.28 per hour. Additional compensation includes $4.57/hour for health & welfare benefits.

Essential Duties:
  • Train or retrain staff on custodial and safety procedures
  • Manage schedules and assignments for crews in the absence of other supervisors
  • Communicate effectively with employees, inspect work, and address concerns
  • Operate or supervise the operation of maintenance and floorcare equipment
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of Floor Technician experience
  • Minimum 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
  • Punctuality and good attendance
