Job summary

Canvas seeks a senior T&E program leader at Eglin AFB to direct end-to-end technical efforts, refine requirements, define test objectives, and supervise ground and flight testing to ensure data collection, instrumentation, and analysis yield decision-quality results.

Direct mission planning and post-mission analysis using established T&E processes, models, hardware-in-the-loop, measurement facilities, and open-air ranges; synthesize findings into formal reports for varied audiences.

Qualifications

• Recognized Subject-Matter Expert with exceptional expertise.
• Extensive experience planning, conducting, and analyzing air-launched weapons and mission systems testing.
• Mastery of test documentation (Methods of Test, data packages, reports) and data analysis.
• Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and mentor engineers/test personnel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearances; SAP/SCI may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical efforts: refine requirements, define test objectives, author methods of test, and oversee execution for ground and flight activities; ensure data collection, instrumentation, and analysis yield valid, decision-quality results.
• Direct mission planning and post-mission analysis using accepted T&E processes, models/simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, measurement facilities, and open-air ranges; synthesize findings into briefings and reports.
• Provide senior technical advisement across avionics, sensors/seekers, weapons integration, interoperability, survivability/vulnerability, EM effects, and C5ISR topics; mentor engineers and test personnel.
• Uphold safety and compliance: apply AFMC/AFTC flight-test policy and Government processes during supported activities; participate in technical and safety reviews.
• Represent the program with internal stakeholders and external partners across government, industry, and academia; communicate complex technical matters clearly to varied audiences.
