Job summary

EVONA in Denver is seeking a Lead Flight Software Engineer to lead a team of engineers while hands-on developing flight software for spacecraft. You will architect and implement application-level software across subsystems, mentor engineers in modern C++ design, and steer testing practices and technical direction through development, launch, and on-orbit operations.

The role combines roughly 50% hands-on engineering with 50% team development in a hybrid Denver environment, supporting multiple

Qualifications

Experience developing flight software for spacecraft beyond low-level firmware.
Strong modern C++ skills and experience with concurrent or multithreaded systems.
Experience working across multiple spacecraft subsystems.
Ability to mentor engineers and adapt to changing priorities.
Full lifecycle flight-software experience is valuable.
Breadth and impact of work matter more than fixed years of experience.

Responsibilities
