Qualifications

  • GS-14: Performing duties such as technical operations including risk management and decision making, with knowledge of spacecraft or launch vehicle design and operations.
  • GS-14: Integrating ground, crew, and spacecraft capabilities; conducting pre-flight planning and real time mission execution.
  • GS-14: Building coalitions and working with organizations and stakeholders.
  • GS-15: Leading design or technical operations including hardware, software, flight control, orbital mechanics, launch services, or ground support systems.
  • GS-15: Providing technical and team leadership for preflight design/planning and real time mission execution.
  • GS-15: Building coalitions with organizations including Commercial Crew/Cargo, payload and science representatives, and international partners.

Responsibilities
