Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring for a Second shift technician to service delivery vans and DOT vehicles at client sites in Candler, NC. You will perform tire services, oil changes, inspections, diagnostics, and advanced repairs as part of routine maintenance.

Travel to various client locations using a company vehicle is required. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) with company matching, life insurance, vacation time, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing training

Qualifications

2 years of experience performing qualified DOT regulated inspections, preventative maintenance, and brake related services.
Must have DOT Brake Certification, or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements, including being at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation.
Advanced repairs and state inspections.
Using a company vehicle, you will be traveling to various client sites to perform these services.
