Job summary
Palmetto Yacht Management in Manning, SC seeks a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead daily shop operations for heavy-duty trucks and custom trailers. You will manage a team of technicians, welders, and parts staff, ensuring safety, SOP adherence, and proactive maintenance.
You’ll implement maintenance programs, optimize workflows, and partner with management to exceed service standards in a fast-growing yacht transport operation. Flexibility for non-standard hours may be required.

Responsibilities
- Operations & Leadership: Manage daily shop workflow, schedule repairs, oversee technicians and shop staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
- SOP Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to proprietary SOPs and maintain high-quality processes.
- Fleet Maintenance Management: Oversee customization, modification, and preventative maintenance of RAM trucks and custom trailers using Fleet Maintenance Software.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Conduct equipment inspections and enforce safety and precision.
