HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a Flare and Relief Specialist in Anacortes, WA. The role leads contract engineers on flare and relief studies and ensures safety and reliability in refinery operations.

Ideal candidates have seven years of process engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, plus knowledge of ASME/API standards. The position requires on-site work with some travel and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in process engineering or related roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of contract engineers in flare and relief studies (assurance and design).
• Identify overpressure/underpressure scenarios and perform relief device sizing calculations.
• Coordinate unit flare and relief assurance reviews and manage related documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Provide technical assurance to change management activities, operating procedures, and maintenance/turnaround efforts.
