Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) seeks a Firewall Administrator-Lead to oversee enterprise firewall deployments within a federal program. You will supervise contractor personnel, coordinate with COTRs and government staff, and ensure timely reporting and compliance with DoD/DLA security requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with firewall hardware/software, LAN/WAN operations, and securing networks in a government environment, with responsibility for planning, scheduling,

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience including working knowledge of firewall and security hardware/software.
• Working knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices.
• In-depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations.
• Familiarity with incident ticket tracking systems for inputting incident tickets.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations and IA standards.
• Experience installing, configuring, and day-to-day sustaining of network equipment including firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractor personnel and manage project planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with Vendor Project Manager, COTRs, and government user representatives to address technical matters.
• Develop product requirements and technical specifications for projects from planning to completion.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and timely, accurate reporting of project activities.
• Monitor project performance and ensure compliance with government direction and quality standards.
