Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an experienced field leader to oversee fire sprinkler installations on one or more job sites in Jacksonville, FL. You will supervise foremen, fitters, helpers, technicians, and subcontractors while coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment to meet schedules.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in fire protection, 3+ years in foreman or assistant superintendent roles, and NICET Level III/IV preferred. Strong NFPA knowledge and OSHA safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, technical or trade education preferred.
• 10+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience with 3+ years in foreman/assistant superintendent role.
• NICET Level III or IV in Fire Protection preferred; read and interpret drawings, specs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of fire sprinkler system installation on one or multiple job sites.
• Supervise and manage foremen, fitters, helpers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate manpower, material deliveries, and equipment needs to meet project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications.
• Conduct regular job site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Serve as primary field contact for project managers, general contractors, and inspectors.
• Mentor and develop field personnel, including foremen and assistant superintendents.
• Support commissioning, testing, and inspections of fire sprinkler systems.
• Resolve field issues, change orders, and coordination challenges with other trades.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies consistently.
