Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Installer in Montana to install, service, and repair fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression. You will manage equipment delivery, forecast installation hours, and ensure safe handling of tools and materials.

This role requires 5+ years' experience, a valid driver’s license, OSHA/NICET certifications preferred, and ability to work flexible hours. A competitive benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' documented experience in installation and service of fire sprinkler systems or equivalent mechanical background.
• Sprinkler Foreman experience.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
• Able to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State and Local codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair fire protection systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression.
• Execute installation project plans, including equipment delivery and forecasting installation hours.
• Secure Johnson Controls tools and equipment at end of each work period.
• Allocate work as a team leader and coordinate with the construction manager.
• Maintain documentation for all work performed.
• Review project drawings to obtain facts needed for installation activities.
• Work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and job requirements.
• May participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
