Job summary

Century Fire Protection Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field crews and oversee the installation of fire sprinkler systems. This hands-on leadership role requires trade knowledge, quality focus, and a drive to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

You will lead the crew, coordinate with designers, mentors for Fitters and Helpers, and ensure timely, compliant installations in the Knoxville area.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of fire sprinkler experience or training.
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation and field practices.
Leadership and communication skills.
Basic computer and email skills.
Clean MVR required.
Pre-employment drug screen required.
Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

Lead crews installing pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per plans and codes.
Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain sprinkler piping systems.
Train and mentor Fitters and Helpers.
Communicate design changes and material shortages with designers.
Produce red-line drawings for the design team.
Report project status to Field Superintendents and Project Managers.
Complete daily progress reports and project paperwork.
Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
Report incidents promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
