Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC. is seeking a Lead Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Paducah, KY. This fully onsite position requires a BA/BS Degree in fire protection engineering or a related discipline, along with 10 years of experience in fire protection engineering.

The successful candidate will ensure NFPA compliance, coordinate with other disciplines, and conduct various fire safety reviews. BGS offers a competitive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid vacation, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Lead Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Paducah, KY. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Fire/life safety authority, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) compliance.
• Ensure consistency in code application.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for integrated compliance.
• Perform selected reviews based on schedule, complexity, and/or urgency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in fire protection engineering or related discipline plus 10 years of direct experience.
• Experience in NFPA standards, fire hazard analysis, and industrial facilities.
• Successful drug screening.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering License (KY or equivalent by endorsement).
• Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).

Location / Work Arrangement

• This position is a fully onsite position in Paducah, KY.
• Schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday 40-hour week.
