Lead Fire/Life Safety Systems Service Technician

As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of fire alarm and sprinkler systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with all standards. You will also mentor less experienced technicians, fostering a culture of growth and safety.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Performing testing and inspections of fire safety systems
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems and water-based equipment
  • Documenting deficiencies and reporting them appropriately
  • Adhering to safety policies and maintaining accurate work records
  • Responding promptly to repairs and troubleshooting issues
  • Identifying code violations and ensuring compliance
  • Quoting repair jobs and assisting in planning work with supervisors
Qualifications:

Basic:

  • 5+ years’ experience with fire alarm and water-based system maintenance
  • NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 3
  • Ability to read design documents and differentiate wire types
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license

Preferred:

  • 7+ years’ experience in fire alarm systems
  • 8+ years’ experience with water-based equipment
  • Associate degree in electronics or related field
