Job summary

Harvard Protection Services, LLC. in New York seeks a Fire & Life Safety Director to lead a security team and deliver professional customer-focused services for the people and property under protection.

You will maintain a visible presence, monitor the environment, enforce policies, conduct safety inspections, and coordinate emergency actions. A valid Fire Safety Directors license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have Fire Safety Directors license.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor while leading staff and aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the facility / building assigned.
• Monitor the environment and detect suspicious and unsafe activity.
• Enforce facility policies and procedures within role limits.
• Follow emergency action planning and safety standards; monitor alarms and systems.
• Perform scheduling, overtime management, and review of logs and incident reports.
