Job summary
Guardian Fire Protection Services, LLC is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician in Baltimore to perform service, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of commercial fire alarm systems. The role requires strong technical and customer service skills, and leadership experience to guide technicians and apprentices on multi-project assignments.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on fire alarm industry experience.
- NICET certification preferred, not required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Experience reading and interpreting fire alarm plans, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform installation of commercial fire alarm systems across projects.
- Read and interpret fire alarm drawings and installation documents.
- Program and configure fire alarm panels and components.
- Coordinate installation activities with project managers and other trades.
- Provide technical direction to technicians and apprentices on site.
- Ensure work meets NFPA standards and manufacturer requirements.
- Assist with inspections, testing, and AHJ acceptance as required.
