Job summary

Procon is seeking a Finishing Foreman to lead the finishing phase of concrete construction projects on-site in Virginia. You will supervise crews, ensure quality finishes align with design specs, and coordinate with supervisors to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires at least five years in concrete finishing, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints. OSHA safety certification and a track record of safety compliance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete finishing trades within the construction industry.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Proven supervisory or foreman experience managing finishing crews.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing crews to ensure timely, high-quality completion of tasks.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to guide finishing work accurately.
• Monitor progress and quality, conduct safety-inspections, and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing team members for skill development and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with senior foreman, superintendents, and other trades to schedule work and resolve on-site challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage for reporting and tracking.
