ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This individual will join the Consolidations team, serving as the connective tissue across Corporate and Division finance teams to produce financial analysis and insights across Anduril’s business. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and highly collaborative, with an FP&A, consulting or investment banking background, a high standard for accuracy, and the instinct to ask why a number moved rather than simply reporting that it did. This individual will aggregate and validate financial data across divisions, and produce the analysis that the team builds its executive narrative on for the CFO and the C-Suite. This role works across every business unit at Anduril, providing an executive level view of the entire company’s financial performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Run the Cadence: Execute the financial operating calendar (monthly, quarterly, annually), owning the templates, data pulls, and deliverables that make each cycle land on time, and chasing inputs from cross-functional partners ahead of key deadlines.
• Consolidate the Numbers: Own the mechanics of consolidated budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning — collecting and validating division submissions, and building the consolidated view of actuals against plan and forecast.
• Explain the Variances: Produce clear, accurate variance and driver analysis at the company, division, and business-line level, and draft the first version of the story behind it — what moved, why, and what it implies — for review by the team and delivery to C-Suite.
• Prepare Executive Materials: Build the exhibits, models, and presentation materials used in monthly business reviews, quarterly reviews, and planning sessions, to a standard that holds up to scrutiny without rework.
• Build for Scale: Treat recurring manual work as a problem to be solved, not a cost of doing business. Use AI tooling and modern data tools to compress the distance between raw data and finished analysis, so a small team can carry a company-wide scope.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance/FP&A, Consulting or Strategy, or Investment Banking. Exposure to corporate consolidations, month-end close, or multi-entity reporting is a plus.
• Strong financial acumen and advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; able to build a model another person can audit.
• Comfortable working in and across financial systems (e.g., ERP, consolidation, planning tools), with an understanding of how data flows between them and an eye for improving the processes and tooling that make analysis faster and more reliable.
• Fluent with current AI tools and actively applying them to real work — you have used them to automate or accelerate something meaningful in a prior role, and can walk through what you built, where it worked, and where you deliberately chose not to trust the output.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly cross-functionally; collaborative by default, and comfortable building trust with partners across Finance, Accounting, and the business.
• Intellectually curious — you seek to understand the why behind the numbers and dive into the operations as needed.
• Action oriented, with a track record of owning a deliverable end to end and producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a low tolerance for numbers that do not tie.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

US Salary Range

$129,000 - $171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
