JOB SUMMARY

This job performs financial and business-related research and analysis, such as preparing forecasts and analyzing financial reports, records, and trends. It involves developing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases to facilitate analysis and reporting. The role is responsible for conducting and documenting financial analysis projects.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Display effective communication skills.
  • Coordinate with other departments, locations, and divisions.
  • Communicate with other departments and outside agencies to resolve problems.
  • Communicate with management regarding project status and deadlines.
  • Advise management on expected outcomes and recommend improvements.
  • Present analysis summaries of financial results and trends to management.
  • Perform financial and business-related analysis.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and interpret financial and statistical data.
  • Develop and document business policies and conduct financial studies.
  • Prepare forecasts and analyze trends.
  • Analyze financial reports and records.
  • Provide explanations for variances and recommend actions regarding reserves, assets, and expenditures.
  • Independently solve problems and document recommendations.
  • Facilitate analysis and reporting processes.
  • Utilize computer systems to input, retrieve, or display financial data.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
  • Use PC and mainframe systems to generate reports, graphs, and charts.
  • Lead special financial projects within the department.
  • Manage project activities, ensuring progress and timely completion, including communication with stakeholders.
  • Make recommendations based on analysis findings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience as determined by the company.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance, including project leadership.
  • Experience with MS Excel and MS Access.

Additional Information
