Responsibilities

Kforce has a well-established client in the Aberdeen, Maryland (MD) area seeking a Lead Financial Analyst. Summary: In this role you will lead financial planning, analysis, and strategy for assigned divisions. The Lead Financial Analyst will provide financial insight and decision support to divisional leadership, focusing on profitability, sales/margin analysis, and operational efficiency. Duties:

• Guide divisional financial strategy and develop team financial acumen
• Build profitability models and evaluate customer performance
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and month-end review processes
• Analyze sales, margin, expense, and inventory trends
• Collaborate with Operational Finance for reporting and best practices
• Support capital requests and investment analysis
• Mentor analysts and participate in strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience (CPA/CMA preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, cost accounting, and data analysis
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
