Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Lead – Financial Accounting to join its Global Services Office. You will handle preparing financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close tasks, across multiple entities and currencies.

The role requires a CPA (preferred) and at least five years in GL accounting, with a strong eye for detail and analytical skills. Hybrid/in-office schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, business or related field.
• CPA, preferably.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in General Ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed general ledger and bank reconciliations and resolve issues.
• Maintain general ledger across entities, books, and currencies.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and trend analyses.
