  • Preferred CPA; health insurance industry experience and GAAP technical research experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or review audited financial statements, including footnotes, insurance filings and board/investor reports.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to draft and implement new or revised accounting policies.
  • Provide GAAP and SAP interpretation and prepare technical position papers.
  • Coordinate annual external audit and liaise with auditors.
  • Implement financial reporting systems and process improvements.

The incumbent will drive technical research and memo preparation, accounting guidance adoption and integration, and policy formulation to ensure appropriate application of GAAP and SAP rules and regulations across the organization.
