Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking experienced utility designators and survey crew chiefs to join the Underground Utilities, Land Surveying, and Mapping team in Trenton, New Jersey. Compensation ranges from $25.00–$38.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and certifications.

TN visa eligibility is noted, with no immigration sponsorship other than TN cases. Responsibilities include setting up surveying equipment, performing boundary/topography surveys, and recording precise field notes.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience with utility designating and locating equipment.
• Ability to lead project assignments and supervise crews.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate surveying equipment including total station and GPS.
• Perform boundary, topography, right of way, and construction surveys.
• Maintain survey equipment and record field notes clearly.
• Collect data and perform calculations for surveys.
• Document assignments and travel as needed.
• Coordinate with team on project tasks.
