Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Minneapolis seeks senior technicians to anchor our largest placements and special inspection scopes. You will lead pours, mentor junior technicians, interface with engineers and building officials, and own the quality of the record on high-stakes projects.

You will run testing rhythms, document results, and coordinate with the batch plant, superintendent, and engineer of record when a load reads out of spec. Travel for defined programs is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• Must hold ICC reinforced concrete or soils certifications, NICET Level II+ or ACI field certifications.
• Comfortable owning the testing record on major placements and traveling for defined programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work; perform and document inspections per project IBC programs; mentor and check junior field technicians.
• Coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials; support multi-state deployments on a project basis.
