Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician 4 to lead installation teams for security infrastructure and pole-mounted equipment. This on-site role focuses on hands-on field work, from mounting to testing equipment at outdoor job sites.

You will supervise a two-person crew, coordinate with installation plans, and ensure safety and quality on every site. The role requires comfort with heights, strong problem-solving, and practical electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecom, low-voltage, security systems, electrical, or utility field work.
• Comfort working outdoors and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two-person team building, mounting, and configuring pole-attached security equipment
• Install cameras, Wi-Fi equipment, infrared illuminators, sensors, communications devices, brackets, and enclosures
• Handle cable routing, termination, labeling, and connections
• Perform basic electrical and low-voltage work
• Troubleshoot equipment, power, and connectivity issues in the field
• Read and follow installation drawings, work orders, and site plans
• Inspect finished work for alignment, function, and quality
• Keep accurate records, photos, and documentation for every job
• Work safely from bucket trucks (up to 40 ft), ladders, and lifts
• Travel to job sites as needed
