Rain for Rent is seeking a Field Technician III to lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment at agricultural or industrial sites. The role emphasizes safe work practices, teamwork, and delivering quality service to customers on a fast-paced field schedule.

The position requires equipment handling, site assessments, and strong problem-solving to ensure installations function properly and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Read work orders or instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment with appropriate tools, machinery, and other equipment according to specifications.
• Lead a crew or complete projects independently, as required by management.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine assignments and material needs.
• Select pipe sizes and types and related materials according to specifications.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment with appropriate tools.
• Lead a crew or complete projects independently, as required by management.
• Inspect equipment, company vehicles, and tools for safety and functionality prior to travel to customer sites.
• Track and maintain company tools and supplies and report any damaged items to Supervisor.
• Complete Job Site Analysis for customer sites where work is to be performed.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment according to project specifications.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines using pressure gauge or testing methods.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers upon install and testing when required.
• Use hand and power tools to modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems and equipment.
• Follow QSE regulations and ensure total customer satisfaction before leaving jobsite.
