Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Field Technician II to lay out, assemble, and maintain piping and related equipment for agricultural or industrial sites. You will positively represent the company and ensure customer satisfaction while traveling to job sites across assigned regions.

The role requires reading work orders, selecting suitable pipe sizes, and using hand and power tools. Excellent teamwork and safety culture are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be motivated, a team player, safety-oriented, and have a customer service orientation.
• Able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to read a map and calculate distances.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Select pipe sizes and types according to specifications.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment per specifications.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles, and tools for safety before traveling to sites.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and equipment per project specs.
• Inspect and test installed systems using gauges or hydrostatic testing.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers after install and testing.
